Various type of sixteen houses of Boso area from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period have been constructed.
There are farmer's house, merchant's house and samurai's house, and in some houses visitors can enjoy some exercises.
Also visitors can have a experience of Taue(rice-planting) or Inekari(rice-reaping) in the seasons.
There are many cherry blossom trees, and are crowded with
many visitors for seeing the blossoms in the bloom.
